Thomas Aquinas and the 5 proofs
Such an old argument is not good because it is so old, nor is it bad because it is old, it has just been under debate and study for a long time and has certainly been reinforced and reiterated, as well as refuted and attacked, here is another attack: question is tautological and is limited: does God exist?
Suppose we are discussing a single type of God. I have another different God, in fact, other gods, therefore, I do not fit into this debate about a single monotheistic, or, henotheistic god. To accept this debate I would need to stick to God, the only object of this question, already ruling out the hypothesis of the only god, I withdraw or I am expelled from this table.
What God are you debating?
I do not recognize this unique God, therefore a God that is unique can exist only for those who accept to debate about their only God, but for those who have many other gods this debate cannot even be held.
So I ask what this unique God of yours is like, how can you describe him so that I can know and identify him?
And finally I ask what it means to exist?
Saint Thomas Aquinas's five arguments about the irrefutable proofs of the existence of God are unprovable and cannot be challenged;
1 - Everything has a beginning;
2 - Everything has a cause;
3 - There is a purpose for everything;
4 - Everything constantly flows from one state to another;
5 - Everything that exists was created and will end one day.
Where do these come from and can proof of these self-evident paralogies be made?
They are just wordplay without empirical and epistemological meaning, just common sense and theological intuition.
Self-affirmations that only hide a false syllogism of a sophistic cast of diction that cannot be denied a priori, with the phrase "there is no absolute truth", this phrase being true is denied; like the phrase "I died", it exists in grammar but is empty of factual meaning, although grammatically and semantically perfect.
These are permissive linguistic games in poetry to enchant zêmulas.
